Dr. Olivia I-Hsuan Tsai is Professor of Piano at VanderCook College of Music and an internationally active performer, scholar, and arts leader. A frequent presenter at national conferences including CMS, MTNA, and NCKP, she is recognized for championing culturally diverse repertoire and expanding the pedagogical canon through cross-cultural programming. Her book Schubert’s Piano Trios (Scholar’s Press, 2014) reflects her scholarly engagement with performance and analysis. Dr. Tsai has appeared as soloist with orchestras in the United States and China and has served on the faculty of major festivals including Aspen. She is co-founder of the Yang & Olivia Arts Foundation DBA Concert In Allcorners, dedicated to promoting music of diverse cultural influences through performance and community engagement.
蔡宜璇博士現任芝加哥范德庫克音樂學院鋼琴正教授,是活躍於國際舞臺的演奏家與學者。她常受邀於CMS、MTNA、NCKP等重要音樂會議發表演講,倡導多元文化音樂與跨文化對話。她著有《舒伯特鋼琴三重奏》(2014),並曾任蘭州西北師範大學客座教授。作為演奏家,她曾與青島音樂廳管弦樂團及美國多支樂團合作,並擔任阿斯本音樂節駐節鋼琴師。2018年,她共同創立「璇揚藝術基金會」,致力於推廣具有全球文化背景的音樂創作,其藝術工作獲得美國國家藝術基金會等機構支持。
